Measurement Principle

Bu LDL-P4 High Resolution Laser Distance Sensor uses the Indirect Time-of-Flight (iToF) method, specifically the phase-shift laser ranging technique. This method is ideal for short to medium-range measurements and is capable of achieving millimeter-level or even micrometer-level accuracy.

The principle works by modulating the emitted laser at a specific frequency and directing it towards the target object. The reflected laser signal returns to the receiver, and the phase difference between the transmitted and received signal is analyzed.
